Enchanted Kingdom, maybe one of the best theme park in the Philippines. It is located in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. The park was conceptualized by the Landmark Entertainment Group and while the entrance is somewhat resemblent of Disneyland, the rest of the park is modeled after Universal Studios. It was built at a cost of ₱1.2 billion. The park first opened to the public on October 19, 1995. The cost of the ticket is not that expensive so people can have a chance to experience and enjoy Enchanted Kingdom (EK). According to a Philippine Star article (Dec 2009), "Enchanted Kingdom (EK) was recently cited by the government of Laguna for generating the biggest tourist arrivals in 2008, amounting to more than 846,000 visitors out of the 1.974 million who visited the said province last year." So for me, I’m so proud that we have EK that we can introduce for other people in the world to visit it and to say that “It’s more fun in the Philippines.”  I went to EK when I was 8 years old so I can’t much remember the whole place except for some memorable experience from there.
Victoria Park

Fun rides and different attractions can be seen inside of this magical theme park. Upon the entrance, you can see the Victoria Park. Most kids and adults alike are always delighted to ride in the elegant Grand Carousel, the main attraction in this area and the country's largest carousel. Your childhood will not be fun if you haven’t ridden this Grand Carousel. Most commonly rides on this Victoria Park are for kids. So if you have kids with you take them here. They will enjoy various rides and attractions.
Portabello

Is a Carribean-themed replica of the sights and sounds of the Carribean Sea atmosphere. Here you will find the famous Flying Fiesta; Rio Grande, the park's largest attraction that features a white-water ride; and 4D film entertainment at the 4D Discovery Theater. I enjoyed riding the Flying Fiesta. You can really feel that you are actually flying, I mean I felt high on that time because the speed made me feel high. I thought my ride is going to break because it’s really fast but at the same time I felt happy because I enjoyed it.  Rio Grande was the last one that I rode. It was fun except that I have seatmates that are actually wild. Well anyway, atleast  I didn’t get wet than them.

Boulderville

Boulderville, I don’t know much of this part but I think most of the rides here are for kids. I didn’t try riding those because I like more of thrilling and enjoying something like that.
Brooklyn Place

“Brooklyn Place will remind you of 1940s New York with its replica of buildings reminiscent of that time.” From http://www.lagunatravelguide.com/index.php?page=enchanted-kingdom .
I can’t much remember this part of EK but all I remember was this place is really nice and full of fun attractions.  And as I remember, this part was consists of theaters something like that.
The Spaceport Zone

The Spaceport zone's main attraction is the extremely and fun, Space Shuttle! It was so scary that when you look at it… F*@#! I didn’t try that ride because when I was a kid I’m afraid of heights. Also the sound and the speed of it are so terrifying that’s why I didn’t ride it. But if I will have a chance to get back there, I’m definitely going to ride that no matter what happened.
The Jungle Outpost

Now for the Jungle Outpost, literally the theme is Jungle. Its main attraction is the Jungle Log Jam. I’ve tried it and it’s really fun especially when the moment your ride is going to fall off to the water. It’s like the Rio Grande but the thing is it’s more thrilling and of course, the water will splash to your clothes but not that much. The attractions are also cool because of the jungle theme.
The Midway Boardwalk

The Midway Boardwalk, reminiscent of Coney Island in 1930s America. This is my favorite part because of the classic; 130 feet; ferris wheel, The Wheel of Fate. That is my favorite ride in EK because it’s simply relaxing and you can feel the cold wind in the air. It will also give you a nice view up in the sky, you can see the big mountain in there (I don’t know what mountain is that), the beautiful skies, and the beautiful town of course. I’ve also tried the Air Balloon Ride, pretty sweet ride. The Roller Skater, Roller Coaster for kids. What I missed again is the Anchor’s Away, I felt so sick that time that’s why I didn’t experience that hell of a ride.

These experiences made my childhood life complete. This place reminds me that if you’re inside of this place, all of your problems and stress will be gone. For me, this isn’t just a park. This place is filled with happiness and enjoyment for everyone. I miss this place so much and I hope someday I can visit this place again.
